1. Who we are

2. What the service does
You enter a dish, with a photo or as text, and you receive suggestions for beer or wine that go with it. The other direction also works: you enter a drink and receive dishes that suit it.
The advice is a suggestion, not a prescription. Taste is personal, and what works for one person may disappoint another. No rights can be derived from any advice.
We read drinks menus and labels with the help of a language model. That usually goes well, but not always. When in doubt, check what the menu actually says, especially for alcohol percentages or allergens.
3. Age
The service concerns alcoholic drinks and is intended for people aged 18 and over. By creating an account you declare that you have reached that age.
4. Your account
Your account is personal. Do not share your login details and keep your password to yourself. If you notice someone else can access your account, let us know.
You can have your account deleted at any time. Contact us to do so. Everything you have stored, such as your cellar and earlier advice, is removed as well.
5. Free use and Pro
Part of the service is free to use, with a limited number of analyses per month. That counter resets to zero on the first of each month.
A Pro subscription gives you more analyses per month and access to the cellar. Pro costs € 4.99 per month or € 47.99 per year.
The subscription runs through your Google account in the Play Store. Payment, changes and cancellation happen there. We only receive confirmation that your subscription is active; we do not see your payment details and cannot change anything about them.
A subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; it takes effect at the end of the current period. You keep access until that date.
How to cancel
You cancel in the Play Store, because that is where the purchase was made. We cannot stop a subscription for you.
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture at the top right.
- Choose Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Appuyez sur Sipnificant et choisissez Résilier l abonnement.
Your access continues until the end of the period you paid for. After that your account returns to the free tier; what you stored stays.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself on your account page. Everything you stored disappears: your cellar, your earlier advice and your data. This cannot be undone.
Cancel your subscription first. A subscription runs at Google and does not stop when you delete your account. Without cancelling you keep paying for an account that no longer exists.
Unused analyses expire at the end of the month and are not paid out or carried over.
6. Right of withdrawal
Digital services carry a fourteen-day cooling-off period. By starting to use the service immediately you waive that right for the part you have used. Refunds are requested through the Play Store, because that is where the purchase was made.
7. What is not allowed
Do not use the service in a way that hinders others or disrupts our operation. That includes automated querying, attempts to bypass the limits, or creating accounts to stack up free analyses.
In case of misuse we may limit or close an account. Where a subscription is running we refund the unused part.
8. Availability
We do our best to keep the service available but cannot guarantee it. Maintenance, supplier outages or third-party problems may interrupt the service temporarily.
If an interruption lasts unusually long while your subscription is running, get in touch. We will look for a reasonable solution.
9. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the damage. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.
10. Changes
We may amend these terms. If a change is to your disadvantage we will let you know in advance. If you disagree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
11. Governing law
Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law prescribes otherwise.
12. Questions
If your question is not covered here, please get in touch.
